Jasjit is a qualified Lead Auditor for Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015), OHSAS 18001:2007 and SA 8000:2014. He has over 28 years’ experience working in senior management within sports, Leather and garment factories and has extensive knowledge of labour law, HR, production and quality management. He has a Master’s degree in business administration with specialising in HR, as well as postgraduate diplomas in the fields of industrial psychology, personnel management and industrial relations.
Jasjit has worked with more than 50 factories on the implementation of ethical standards, quality systems, production and HR systems. He also imparts training to factories to help them understand and implement codes of conduct, and ethical, quality and technical programmes.
Jasjit has been involved in research projects for the UN Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and monitoring of home worker locations in the football industry.
As a SA8000 lead auditor and WRAP certified, Jasjit has completed more than 1400+ audits over the last decade, covering a range of industries, including leather, sports goods, handicrafts, textiles, apparel, tools, utensils and carpets in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Kuwait, Myanmar and Bangladesh. Types of audits undertaken include: ISO 9000 (QMS), ISO 14000 (EMS), health and safety, SA 8000, BSCI, WRAP, ETI and Clients’ own Codes of Conduct.
Renu is a qualified Lead Auditor for Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015), OHSAS 18001:2007 and SA 8000:2014. Her expertise lies in conducting quality and social compliance audits. She has over 16 years’ related experience, with the last five years spent auditing against the following standards: SA8000/ BSCI/ OHSAS/ ISO9001/ SEDEX/ COC.
Renu is adept at advising clients on health and safety requirements, risk assessment, statutory compliance and how to implement and maintain standards. She is a skilled relationship manager and communicator and has excellent analytical and leadership abilities.
Renu is also a QMS, OHAS and SA8000 trainer and has a Bachelor of Science degree.
Vanita has 18 years of rich experience in the fields of Training & Development, Social Audits, Business Development, Key Accounts & Relationship Management. She is a qualified SA8000 Auditor. She is also a qualified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) and OHSAS 18001:2007.
She is a certified Corporate Trainer and has conducted over 200 training programs in various Companies of repute on Soft Skills and behaviour, product knowledge, Operations, Systems and compliance. She has done her B.Com and post-graduation in Law from Bombay University. Her proficiency in developing and aggressively driving the teams to attain the maximum standard of performance has helped her to rise up to the senior management level in various companies.
She has conducted 300+ man days of Audits and is quite well versed with SA8000, CTPAT, BSCI and FLA Audits.
Wali joined Global Assessments in 2010 bringing over 22 years’ of extensive experience to the team. He is a qualified advanced SA8000 auditor and an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor. He has undertaken a considerable number of SA8000, BSCI, ETI, SEDEX, Fire safety, C-TPAT security assessment and buyer Code of Conduct audits, totalling more than 950+ mandays. He has also conducted a substantial number of training sessions for the Fair Labor Association in Bangladesh.
Wali is also a Cost and Management Accountant and worked with Phulki, a NGO based in Bangladesh from 1992 to 2011. Wali has completed a master’s in business administration as well as a post graduate diploma in financial management.
Salim has been working in the fields of compliance development, training and auditing for the last 17 years. During his early career, he worked on World Bank grants for exporter business development. Salim then qualified as a lead auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS-18001, SA8000, WRAP and BSCI. Initially, he was involved in business development consultancy for a number of years, and after 2006 began to carry out more social compliance audits (BSCI SEDEX, WRAP, CTPAT, SA8000 and clients’ Codes of Conduct). He has undertaken more than 500 of these types of audits, and more than 300 ISO audits (QMS, EMS, OHSAS) in the last 12 years in Bangladesh. He also has experience of auditing in South Asia and China. Salim is also an IRCA approved lead tutor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS-18001 standards.
Salim has undertaken training on “improving manufacturing performance“ from IFC-DFID, supported by SEDF (South Asia Enterprise Development Facility. He joined The Reassurance Network in 2019.
Samad is a sustainability activist, trainer and qualified advanced SA8000 and ISO 9001:2008 lead auditor. He completed his bachelor’s degree in business administration and joined the textile/apparel industry to promote human recourse and sustainability in 2004. He has played an integral part in helping a number of organisations to strengthen overall quality and ethical compliance management.
He is a licensed SEDEX trainer, an international ethical data sharing organization promoting responsible supply chains. He has also conducted many trainings on social compliance and quality management system for a number organisations and NGOs.
His input in to the development of interpretation guidelines for Pakistan on GlobalGap Risk Assessment on Social Practices (GRASP), the first such guidelines in South Asia, were acknowledged by GlobalGap (Germany).
During his auditing career, Samad has conducted over 250+ mandays for SA8000, BSCI, SEDEX ETI, WRAP, C-TPAT, GOTS, QMS and some international buyer Code of Conduct audits.
